Keyboard Shortcuts (or “hotkeys”) are keystrokes used to invoke a command and they usually (but not always) involve a modifier key such as Ctrl apple.png ), Alt (Option), or Shift. For example, instead of choosing Select » Deselect from the menus, you could simply press Ctrl+D ( apple.png+D).
